Valencia Port

Port Community System is a software and service platform that allows the management of Valencia Port, the first container port in the Mediterranean.

The Port Community System connects companies, users, and participants of the day-to-day operations of the Port of Valencia, making all operations electronic. Its primary objective is to manage and make all processes flow in an agile way and to ensure that the time that containers spent in the Port is minimal. The system architecture is based on Microsoft technology, with a strong BPM component and data messaging, and its achievement is the efficiency of the Valencia Port ecosystem.

ENCAMINA has successfully participated both in the analysis of the best user experience (UX) and the design of its graphical interfaces, as well as in the construction of functional modules and complementary systems based on .Net architectures.

Results

• Achieving the management of more than 4,500,000 containers that cross the port every year (whether by sea or by land).
• Allowing the operation of more than 500 companies that work from the Port of Valencia, and more than 5,000 users who connect to the site daily, generating more than 35,000,000 transactions per year.
